First Launch
When running Batch Clipboard for the first time, it needs permission to monitor the clipboard and instruct the frontmost application to copy or paste. On that first launch an Intro window will open walking you through this process, as well as some pages of online help.
Launch on Startup
Batch Clipboard does not automatically set itself to launch when you restart your Mac, it let's you decide this. Choose Settings... from the Batch Clipboard menu and the turn on the "Launch at login" checkbox in the General panel.
Alternately add the application manually to your list of ones to launch on startup: open System Settings, go to the General section, Login Items & Extension sub-panel. Note: In older versions of macOS this may be elsewhere, search for "login" in System Settings or System Preferences.
